The Chemical Brothers will release their tenth studio album For this wonderful feeling8 September. They come back like this later No geography 2019, with which they won two Grammy Awards: “Best Dance/Electronic Album” and “Best Dance/Electronic Recording” (for the single eve of destruction).
The eleven-song tracklist includes already released singles. No reason, The darkness you’re afraid of AND Live again. The video clip of the latter was published on Wednesday, July 19. The video was directed by Dom & Nic and marks the tenth collaboration with the Chemical Brothers.
For this wonderful feeling was recorded at the Chemical Brothers studio on the south coast of England.. The press release describes the album as “a record that captures that magical moment when sound almost overwhelms you, but ultimately allows you to ride its wave into unknown places.” This is an album that pinpoints the moment when you lose control, surrender to the music and let it move you, as if holding on to invisible strings.”
The album will be followed by a book Pause in space reflection, which will be released on October 26 and will focus on the nearly thirty-year career of the Chemical Brothers. The book will include new interviews with the duo, as well as friends and collaborators such as Noel Gallagher, Aurora, Wayne Coyne, Beth Orton, Beck, Michel Gondry and many more.
This summer, The Chemical Brothers are busy touring European festivals including Electic Castle, Wilderness Festival, and Fest Festival. They will play a series of shows across the UK in the autumn.
