After the success of her role in Tim Burton’s film Wednesday Netflix series, Jenna Ortega plans to return Scream 7.

Ortega has completed work on her new film Bug juice 2will be released in theaters on September 6, 2024. However Wednesday Filming for the second season has not yet begun. Hopes to begin production are currently in discussions with Netflix.
Scream 7 is still in the early stages of production. The director is Christopher Landon, who has directed other films, including Happy Death Day And Freaky. Scriptwriters for the film have not yet been signed.

Scream 7 will most likely be released sometime in 2025 as Scream And Scream 6 were released 15 months apart. Wednesday The first season was filmed over seven months. Therefore, if Scream franchise wants Ortega, it may not open until mid-2024.
